Days after the Senate voted to extend federal highway and transit funding as part of the Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment (HIRE) Act, which was signed by President Barack Obama and extends federal highway and transit funding until March 28, the House yesterday in a 217-201 vote also signed off on the bill.
